Steve Murphy, Greg & Laura Grunewald

A Tulsa native, Steve Murphy launched his homebuilding career in 1970, prior to graduation from the University of Tulsa in 1971. He blended his real estate broker's license with his finance degree and construction background to start a building career.

In 1973, Steve and his brother Charles formed Murphy Properties, a successful homebuilding company. Since 1987 and for the future, he and his team are Murphy Resources, named for the full range of construction, financial and personal resources that it provides.

In 1998 Steve and his development team, became co-owners with Joe McGraw of Tulsa's largest real estate agency, McGraw Davisson Stewart, Realtors.

Since 1970, Steve Murphy has been giving his time back to the community. From serving as a deacon at Southern Hills Baptist Church to presiding as president of the Home Builder's Association to building three homes for Habitat for Humanity!

In 2001, Steve added his daughter and son in law to his team, Greg & Laura (Murphy) Grunewald. Greg has used his education in economics to drive his passion for guarding our client's dollars and getting the best value for our owners. Laura received her Marketing degree from OSU and has worked since 2001 to market and sale Murphy Resources homes!
